Our Vision
Philadelphia is the poorest of the ten most populated cities in the United States. More than one-third of its children are living in poverty. As students in the 6th leadership program of Next Level Trainings Philadelphia, part of our transformational curriculum is to create a large-scale community service project for a local non-profit organization. We chose to partner with Youth Action. Youth Action combats social problems plaguing Philadelphia's urban communities such as crime, homelessness, hunger, and teen pregnancy. Through training, mentorship, and civic engagement, Youth Action develops teens into responsible and impactful citizens who improve their own lives and the lives of others. Since inception, Youth Action has trained over 5,000 students, contributed more than 10,000 hours of community service and provided scholarship funds in excess of $40,000. The Youth Action graduation rate is 100%.

We, the 22 members of Next Level Trainings’ VIP 6 - Philadelphia leadership class, came together from multiple states to support the youth in Philadelphia. We spearheaded a massive community service project benefiting Youth Action, Inc. through monetary contributions from 972 donors, an improvement project for the facility, and collected over 200 tangible goods valued at approximately $600 including gift cards from Wal-Mart, Target, and Giant, backpacks, school supplies, notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, and markers. We are honored to issue a check to this non-profit in the amount of $61,653 and delivering the tangible goods on September 12, 2018.
