ADVISORY: Leadership Class to take Youth Action to the Next Level
Next Level Trainings' Leadership Program supports fundraising efforts for youth education programming
PHILADELPHIA, PA - Members of Next Level Trainings' Leadership Program are coming together to support a youth leadership mentoring program. Students from across the country are fundraising and collecting donations of goods and services in high volumes to benefit the work of Youth Action, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit. Youth Action is educating local youth through providing them with training, mentorship, funding, and other resources to lead and serve their communities. Their work supports systematic change to end the cycle of poverty in Philadelphia.
WHAT:
The event is a community gathering in which students who are supporting fundraising across the country are coming together to present donations and money raised during their fundraising campaign at a check presentation ceremony.

WHY:
The event is being held as part of a 31-day-long fundraising campaign by Next Level Trainings’ current leadership class. Communities across the country are impacted by poverty. Youth Action’s mission is to support socially responsible leadership among middle & high school students by providing them with training, socially responsible leadership mentorship, and funding to increase their social awareness of community concerns and lead service initiatives in their communities. Working with schools and communities throughout Philadelphia and Upper Darby, PA, Youth Action offers leadership mentoring that has impacted over 5,000 students, boasts a 100% high school graduation rate, over 10,000 hours of community service, and has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships.
