Our Vision

As students in the 5th Vision and Impact Program (VIP 5) of Next Level Trainings Philadelphia, part of our transformational curriculum is to create a large-scale community service project for a local non-profit organization. We chose to partner with Face to Face, an organization committed to meeting basic human needs and reducing the suffering caused by deep poverty. We are excited to collaborate with Face to Face to create a massive impact on breaking the cycle of poverty in Germantown, Philadelphia. To combat the challenges our community faces, we are supporting Face to Face in their mission to provide life-changing services including meals, health care, social and legal services to individuals and families experiencing deep poverty.

VIP 5 Philadelphia proudly supports Face to Face

Face to Face Germantown was founded in 1985 as a soup kitchen and has evolved into a multi-service organization that offers free human services to more than 2,500 low income and homeless individuals each year. offer a nurse managed Health Center, a Social Services Center, a Legal Center, a Neighborhood Arts Studio and a Summer Camp program. Face to Face also provides a Washeteria were people can take a hot shower and receive a new set of clothes. Each program is designed to interact with the others to comprehensively meet the needs of our guests. At Face to Face is guided by the motto: Hospitality, Mutuality and Transformation.

RELEASE: Next Level Trainings leadership group raises $105,593 in 34 days to fight poverty in Philadelphia Neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA – 31 adults, ranging from 23 to 67 years of age, put together a spontaneous fundraising campaign to support families and individuals in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Having only come together one month prior, the 5th leadership class of Next Level Trainings set out to raise $100,000 for local non-profit, Face to Face Germantown, a 501(c)3 human services organization dedicated to the health, well-being, and stability of our community. Within 33 days, the leadership participants raised over $105,593.
