ADVISORY: Community volunteers to roll up sleeves and improve LifeTown facilities
Next Level Trainings’ leadership team aims to improve facilities, collect goods and raise $100k for LifeTown

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus-based Next Level Trainings’ leadership students and volunteers will be on-site to make physical improvements at the LifeTown facility, a local non-profit serving the needs youth with disabilities from 13 Central Ohio school districts. Volunteers are gathering from across Ohio and beyond to paint, install new cabinets, countertops, shelving, electronics, and more. Over the weekend, the group also expects to top the $100,000 benchmark as it approaches it’s month-long goal of at least $117,000 in unrestricted donations for LifeTown.

WHAT:
Physical improvements day, a feature of every Next Level Trainings community service project, will gather volunteers from all over to enhance the appearance and function of LifeTown’s facilities. Everything from the paint to the electronics and custom-made shelving and woodwork has been donated.

Hosted by Next Level Trainings. Sponsors include: M/I Homes, FlagHouse, Big Lots, RJ Closet, Country Counters, Christ’s Community Church, Keim Lumber, Jason Swisher, PetSmart, Pease Warehouse & Kitchen Showroom, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Sam’s Club, and Erin Reigle.

WHY:
The event is being held as a part of a 34-day long community service project by Next Level Trainings’ current leadership class. The goal for this day is to enhance the beauty and functionality of LifeTown. LifeTown provides a safe environment for Central Ohio’s children with developmental disabilities to practice critical life skills. Next Level Trainings volunteers will ensure LifeTown has many continued years of operation through this Sunday’s physical improvement projects.
