Leadership Team Makes A Lasting Impact Through Improvement Day Project For Victims Of Human Trafficking

A team of leaders have come together from various parts of the country to make a lasting impact on the community of Columbus, OH and 1DivineLine2Health love drop-in center by spending several in-person hours art the Gilgal house to create something beautiful through volunteer work and special projects, such as painting, cleaning, and exterior work.

The 24th class of Next Level Trainings Vision and Impact Program (VIP) have chosen 1DivineLine2Health as the beneficiary of its four-week Community Service Project. 1DivineLine2Health serves those who have been affected by human trafficking, domestic abuse, and the opioid crisis in Columbus, OH. The class will create massive impact for the community in the Hilltop area of Columbus by raising at least $114,000, gathering at least 5,000 donated tangible goods (clothes, nonperishable food items, medical supplies), and donating thousands of in-person hours of volunteer work on the project, including during several work days to improve the recently donated facility at 2424 Sullivant Ave., as well as a couple other locations,  from now until the project ends on October 4th.

This Sunday, the team will be having an improvements day and going in and creating a lasting impact on 1DivineLine2Health’s one of four drop-in centers, the Gilgal house.

The work to be done will include:

  • Clean entire interior of the house

  • Paint rooms on the inside

  • Paint the deck

  • Lawn mowing, edging, yard work

  • Mural painted somewhere on the property by members of the team

At least 500 grab bags containing supplies will also be put together by our team that will be handed out by Esther and her staff to girls on the streets to ensure they have snacks and clean necessities.

Hundreds of donated items of women’s clothing will also be brought to that location and stored until the center is ready to open.

The improvement project will take place on Sunday, September 29, at the Gilgal house, 2411 Bretton Place, Columbus, OH 43211 from 1pm-end.

We believe 1DivineLine2Health will have a massive impact on the community and our goal as a team is to support its cause in bringing light, hope, and love to the world. Love heals the sick; love heals the world.
