Next Level Trainings to raise $117,000 in 39 days to support Huckleberry House, a teen crisis and homelessness non-profit.
COLUMBUS, OH – The 19th leadership class of Next Level Trainings, as part of it’s transformational curriculum has created a large-scale community service project for a local non-profit organization. The 2018-2019 class has chosen to support Huckleberry House. Next Level Trainings has committed to raise $117,000 for the Huckleberry House. The campaign runs until January 24, 2019. In just 18 days the campaign has raised over $50,000.
The team of leaders, dedicated to be the change we want in this world, will also collect 1,500 tangible goods and improve the physical facility, additionally providing 3,700 hours of volunteer support. According to Captain, Craig Mcguire ‘the work the Huckleberry House provides to the Columbus community is so vital to our youth, we are grateful to have this opportunity to support this critical effort.’
Next Level Trainings provides experiential leadership programs that support people in unlocking their passion, power, and purpose Next Level Trainings is excited to support the life-changing work of the Huckleberry House and to create massive results in just one month! In the Columbus area, 2,000 young people are currently homeless. Thousands more are struggling with unsafe, unsupportive, or abusive challenges in their home environment. The Huckleberry House of Columbus provides shelter, food, employment readiness, and necessary counseling. With this support being raised the Huckleberry House will be able to expand in a new 56-unit housing complex that will support 17-22 years old in obtaining education and life skills that will support them in transitioning to permanent housing in the Columbus community. Huckleberry House offers a wide range of services that help young people and their families overcome their current situations and achieve independence.

About Huckleberry House
Started in 1970 as a shelter for runaway teens, Huckleberry House serves young people and families in crisis. The organization’s four core programs include a 24-hour shelter for teens, an 18-month transitional living program for young adults who have experienced homelessness and are preparing to live independently in permanent housing, a youth outreach team that connects young people with resources and a family support counseling program with an expertise in adolescent cognitive behavior practices.
